Bomas of Kenya

Traditional homesteads from communities across Kenya, and music and dance performances in a grand auditorium.

About Bomas of Kenya

Bomas of Kenya is a cultural centre that celebrates the traditions of Kenya's many communities. "Boma" means homestead, and the grounds hold traditional homesteads built in the styles of different communities.

Its resident troupe performs traditional songs and dances from across the country in a large circular auditorium. It's one of the easiest ways to experience the variety of Kenya's cultures in a single visit.
